La Boule d'Or is the second oldest petanque club in the United States and the first on the West Coast. Founded in San Francisco in 1959, the club is associated with the Federation of Petanque USA and is affiliated with clubs throughout California and the US.
Members of the club can be found playing at the terrain in Golden Gate Park near 38th Avenue & Fulton on Wednesday and Sunday mornings at 10:30AM and Friday afternoon at 2PM.
